I am a newly qualified Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist working towards BABCP accreditation. My working background and specialisms are supporting adults and young people who have experienced domestic/sexual abuse and supporting family members/concerned others of those struggling with addictions.

I have experience of supporting people one-one and in group settings who are struggling with symptoms of PTSD/low self-esteem/depression/anxiety/self-harm often triggered by abusive and traumatic experiences.

I have Community Reinforcement and Family Training (CRAFT), (an evidence based structured therapeutic behavioural program for family members/concerned others of an addicted person).  CRAFT aims to promote positive communication, understanding, set safer boundaries and improve emotional wellbeing within the family unit, regardless of whether their loved one address’s their issues own around addiction.

I have supported a number of young people with neurodiversity’s such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Dyslexia, ADHD who are also struggling with social anxiety. I feel particularly compassionate about supporting those who don’t feel they fit in to improve their self-esteem.
