Sheffield CBT Practice is a private therapy service which offers Cognitive Behaviour Therapies and counselling services. Our team are qualified to treat a range of difficulties which are stopping you reaching your full potential.
Our City Centre practice allows accessible access to people from South Yorkshire and Derbyshire.
Whether you are feeling low as a result of depression or so anxious you can’t leave your house or so lacking in confidence you are unable to start a conversation (or something else) CBT could hold the answers for you.
CBT has been recognised by The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) as effective in treating the following issues:
"Before CBT I was living in a state of high anxiety, fear and low confidence, the therapist made me feel safe, accepted and understood"
"It was very helpful and gave me the confidence to face my fears instead of avoiding everything"
"The work Sarah and Jane do is professional and ethical and I would highly recommend them if you are looking for reputable cognitive behaviour therapists."
I was recommended Sheffield CBT Practice to work on some anxiety issues I was facing that were restricting my day to day life and experiences as a newish mum. Sarah was understanding, welcoming, patient and constructive. We worked on a plan of action together and she was supportive and positive every step of the way. I really appreciate the work she did with me and would (and have) highly recommend her to anyone with similar issues.
"The service was phenomenal and I would recommend it to anyone, without it. I’m not sure where I would be, it has given me a new life without my distress controlling it"
If there are tools or techniques that are missing in helping you change we can help you identify them and master them to help you to help yourself.
Both Sarah and Jane hold a Post Graduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapies and are accredited through a professional body. They have extensive experience in the private, NHS and voluntary sectors.
Our therapy offices are based close to the City Centre with free on-site parking and is accessible by public transport with a tram stop. The leafy and quiet surroundings make for a perfect location.
